How to make the Canned Carrots hat

Well, I think you'll notice that I own the Canned Carrots Planned Carrots blog. (Yay!) Here's the PAPER HAT OF CANNED CARROTS.
What you need-
  • Paper
  • Some extra scraps of paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
Method-
  1. Make the Lord Nelson hat. And in case you don't know how to do it (Bless ye!) here's how-
  • Fold the two top corners of your sheet down to the bottom.
  • Stick the corners together.
  • Fold up the bottom bit.
2. Cut some carrots and cylinder shapes out of your scraps. Or how about this? Make it so that the cylinders and carrots make a big carrot and stick 'em down.

Have fun with you Canned Carrots hat!

Paper witch necklace

Well, Halloween is nearby and the shops are riddled with Halloween tricks, treats and costumes.
Here's to saving money- A witch necklace. OK, it's not a paper hat, but it involves paper nevertheless. All you need is paper, sellotape, scissors and a piece of wool.
  1. Tie the wool so it's like a necklace. Make sure it fits your neck!
  2. Cut off a strip of paper and twist it round your necklace. Use more than one strip of paper if you need to.
  3. Add the finishing touch of a paper skull, bat or pumpkin. I did a skull.

SPIKY hat

OK. Here's an abnormal hat for you to sample. The spiky hat.
You need-
Paper (duh)
Scissors
Glue
  1. Cut off a strip from the bottom of your paper, and stick the ends together.
  2. Cut out a lot of spikes from the remaining bit.
  3. Stick on the triangles so they go all around your band. When you've ran out of space and still have triangles left, stick triangles on top of other triangles.
  4. Decorate!

METHOD:
  1. Fold the two top corners to the center, like one of those Lord Nelson hats.
  2. Tape your corners together.
  3. Cut two slits in the remaining corners, and use the paper hairband mehtod of making the elastic band into a string and threading it through.
  4. Decorate!

Your very own PAPER BIRD

The great Kittenlova has done it again... Discovered how to make a paper bird. You need, er, paper, Sellotape and scissors. Plus whatever you want to decorate your recycled raven with.

  1. Scrunch your paper sheet into a ball. Also crumple a square of newspaper into a ball. Make three sausages, too. You'll find out what these are for in a bit.
  2. Stick your smaller ball onto the bigger ball. And fold the ends of two sausages.
  3. Stick all your sausages on- Two underneath for legs, and one at the back for a tail.
  4. Decorate!

Well, have fun!
